PACKER AND PUMA SELL-OUT THEIR LIMITED COLLECTION AT THE “BLOODBATH” POP-UP
SEASON: SUMMER 2015
Packer teamed up with Puma to launch a pop-up for their limited edition “bloodbath” sneaker and sold out in just two days.
Goal: To celebrate the launch of the “Bloodbath” Blaze of Glory, Sneaker Freaker and Packer Shoes teamed up with Puma for a special pop-up retail experience in the heart of New York City.
Lionesque: The Packer Shoes team enlisted the LG team to consult on their midtown pop-up at our partnership space The Hatbox at the Refinery Hotel.
Results: The shoe was the third release in the trilogy between Australia-based magazine Sneaker Freaker and Puma, and the first that Packer Shoes has been a part of. The opening reception included NBA free agent (formerly of the Orlando Magic) Ben Gordon, Wu Tang Clan rap star Raekwon (who collaborated with Packer Shoes and Diadora on the recent Purple Tape N.9000 release), and rapper Mehyem Lauren. Lines started down the block before doors even opened to the public. The pop-up closed mid-way through their planned activation dates due to a SOLD OUT performance.
