Goal: Building off of the learnings and momentum of pop-up locations in New York and Chicago, innovative home furnishings brand Burrow set off to create permanent flagship retail locations in NYC, Boston, Los Angeles, and beyond.
Lionesque: Burrow partnered with The Lionesque Group to bring to life Burrow House, collaborating on site evaluation, store design, and build-out project management of its new flagship locations across the country. Deliverables included location and space analysis, ideation and design, 2D layouts and 3D renderings, all production sourcing, and build-out management.
Outcome: With more floor space and modularly designed vignette environments to accommodate better storytelling moments, the award-winning Burrow House experiences also serve as a partnership platform and showroom for other direct-to-consumer brands. The flexible designs create spaces as modular as their product offerings, enabling a retail program that can evolve with the brand as it unveils new collections. Since opening doors, Burrow House has been featured in Furniture Today as well as Forbes, and recognized by Fast Company’s Innovation By Design Awards for Retail Environments.
